The problems with the Internet Exploder have been fixed. It seems that freaking browser interpretes HTML in an interesting way.

I updated the GibStats with yesterdays results. I noticed something that I don´t really like. Everytime I get kicked for whatever reason (hitting the wrong button, or strafe-running too much as Medic) GibStats seems to stop using the following log data. :-((
Solution: I´ll be more careful in the future.
When looking at the statistics, you might notice that SkullFuck will soon be the most skillful player. For your convenience I added the Sniper-TopTen here. Bandit[CoM] is the top sniper there with an evil number of frags..
Once again: The DLc vs. RA match has been cancelled. Instead we can watch CoM vs. AGO, which will be quite interesting.

As it seems we will be able to play RA on Uplink. Reptile was so kind to grant me server access for that match. Now you only have to agree, RA!
Update: Match has been cancelled. They cannot play because they already have a match vs. a freaking QuakeWorld clan. And we cannot play on Monday so...

We will most probably fight the Risen Angels on Sunday the 19th of December at around 22:00. Put on some fireproof underpanties..
Added a small hitcounter. More addons to come in the next days.
The Armygeddon Clan fought Risen Angels last week and...lost. All in all only two AGO members were playing at the end and this surely added to their defeat. Furthermore they were plagued by evil lag and general disorientation. See here for a match report. It seems that a cheap Scout rush works well when "fighting" the supposedly amateurish NetQuakers. As far as I have heard from AGO people they would have preferred a demonstration of fighting abilities instead of showing them what unprofessional connections they have.
We will be able to have our piece of their bodies soon enough. Currently planned maps are: 2tech4 and Bases.

Updated GibStats with my last games.
We have a new member! Throck, or Throckmorton, joined us. Until I have finished the new memberlist he won´t show up there, sorry :-) Anyways, welcome to the DLc!
The CoM-Clan is growing, and I heard AGO will have a match against RA very soon (Today? Tomorrow? I forgot :-) ). Good luck boys and girls :-))

Unfortunately I am unable to keep the GibStats up-to-date. Due to my job I cannot play as often as I want and as I used to do in the past. Unless someone else contributes the needed logfiles I can only post the games I am participating on the weekend. I don´t plan to delete the GibStats however. Of course this renders the GibStats concept rather useless, but I´ll find a way to update them as often as needed.

Uploaded a new demo which replaces "3003bam4.lzx", 2511mach.lzx.
I merged all people in my gibstats that were in them twice, thrice etc. I also found out why PAT from the Armygeddon Clan cannot be killed (at least from GibStats´ point of view): His name has a carriage-return character at the end. Thus, when he gets gibbed, his name is in one line ("PAT[AGO]") and in the line below appears the "has been gibbed by Wussy". Of course GibStats cannot take that into account. So my advice for all those carriage-return freaks - don´t do it :-) I´ll delete you.
Some more pleasing news: As it seems we will have game.uplink.de back soon. The people at Uplink will thoroughly check the server tomorrow. Good luck!

Since Dubtwist wrote such a nice comment about both our gibstats, I just could no resist to do the same :-)

Yes, my stats are correct, as far as I am concerned. I did not hand-edit them to show a result that I want (i.e. to be that numero uno frag god). I did merge some players in the beginning. But see below.
Of course do my gibstats only show the results from 36 played maps compared to Dubtwists impressingg 167. The reason is - I only added that much games! Batmans Bases and both DLc vs. AGO clanmatches left out I used only games that I played. As you can easily see thanks to my dates in the names of most games the first one was logged on 11th of November. And there are some logfiles I did not use, mostly because I was still toying around with the program. I could have removed the "early" ones, as I could have removed the Clanmatches. But I did not.
I don´t know why certain people´s deaths are not shown correctly (they aren´t?). It seems that the program has problems with colored names. The clan-tag of the CoM people appears as "CM" in their names for example. There is no cure. I can still delete those players of course.
Hunted style maps are not really standard gameplay and thus show "weird" scores. The president can hardly kill players and if he does, it will surely be shown in the stats. Apart from that, he only dies. The main reason that I added SGHunt, logged on the 12th of October was that SkullFuck had one of his first appearances on the server before he joined our ranks.
Regarding the people that appear several times in the stats. People that play with PPCQuake have the problem that PPCQuake does not like colored names. I was told it resets them every time a new level is loaded. So the affected persons need to manually start their name scripts. Sometimes they forget it. As a result they appear several times. I merged some of them at the beginning. But then "holes" started to show up, and still do. Maybe I need to start my database from the beginning. I´ll see what I can do.
Unfortunately GibStats really does not use the flag-cap information. Blame the author. Bomb him with mails "I want it using flag-cap information!". Maybe that is a reason why the program is called "GIBstats" and not "CapStats" or whatever.
I don´t exactly know what Dubtwist means by his comment about the sentry destroy counting as Engineer kill. At least in the program itself there are separate fields for both "Sentry Gun" (Which Sentry kills the most?) and "Sentry Destroy" (Who kills the most Sentryguns?). On the generated HTML pages just go to the "Highscores" and the select the value you want to check ("Sentry Gun" and/or "Sentry Destroy").
Unfortunately PPCQuake does not seem to be able to produce usable output :-( (does -condebug work for anyone?).
Of course I have some people in my statistics that only played one map, like "player" etc. So does Dubtwist in his (hehe, I counted 7, Dub :-) ). Hey, I am lazy! :-)

Originally I created the stats for internal use only. It is rather pointless to log games on a public server. People come, people go, change their nick etc. But then I decided to release them to the public and thought that some might find them as useful as I think they are. Of course all regular players know which red dot on the floor is to be avoided or when to be especially cautios in buildingg up the defense. But with those statistics we can find out why and with what weapon(s) certain people are most effective.
I will update the stats once a week, I think this is enough. If you want to have a certain game analyzed that is neither in my nor in Dubtwists stats (but hard to tell, in the latter case ;-) ) feel free to contact me. If you send just the logfile, there is no need to contact me first. Just send them (these logfiles are very small compared to demos). If you want to have the stats edited, players merged or deleted etc. please also contact me.

It is just a game and it´s gonna be alright.

Added a link to the newly founded TF-Clan "Commanders of Madness" CoM.
Statistics have been added to Files/GibStats/. Go and check them out. I greatly optimized the pictures compared to previous releases. They only have 1/5 the size of the old graphs. If your browser is not capable of displaying PNG, well, sorry.

Ok, Uplink is finally online again.
I uploaded four demos to the server. They are not new by any means, but you might have fun watching them.
Due to public request I will update the HP more often. There ya go :-)
I also uploaded another version of my homebrewn pak-files. This ones a cutie! It contains all good-looking .mdl`s for both weapons and misc. stuff, such as ammo-boxes, medikits, armor etc. Several skins changed too (you will see a difference to those used on the memberlist, but not for long). Of course you sacrifice speed when you want better optics. There is always a price to pay...
